This was our last stop on our South Island trip and it exceeded all expectations! The place was immaculate, comfortable and had stunning views. It was a perfect driving distance to Nelson airport and to Abel Tasman. We wished we could have stayed longer and are already hoping one day to return!

There isn't the vocabulary to describe this exquisite accommodation. Having travelled extensively and always chosen carefully, this has raised the bar in every way. The size, decor, amenities, facilities, the location and view are simply stunning. The attention to detail is second to none. In addition to this the added bonus are the owners whose hospitality goes way beyond the extra mile, they care for your every need without being intrusive and the cherry on top are those special homemade treats. Thank you so much Mike and Donna for making our stay truly perfect in every way. We will be back.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed; if Donna and Mike's is available, you need to book this! There are so many thoughtful details throughout their custom-designed space, from the hot tub (pristine!), to the decks with views, to the living/bedroom (king bed super comfy!) spaces. We enjoyed the outdoor artistic fireplace, and dinner on the deck. They provide a lovely breakfast - you get, muesli, and fresh juice. This place is stunning!

We absolutely loved our week! Donna & Mike are two of the kindest & most generous people you could wish to meet and fabulous hosts. The breakfast supplies were such a treat!:-) The bed was supremely comfortable (the best one in our 3 months of traveling so far) & the bathroom is beautiful. The whole place is spotlessly clean & extremely well maintained; it was a pleasure to stay here. We loved the hot tub on the deck & really appreciated the access to the pool, which was lovely. Even though the apartment is attached to the house, it does feel very private. Donna & Mike's 2 labradoodles stopped by occasionally to say "Hello" - they are adorable 🙂

The house is incredibly peaceful & relaxing ... and super accessible for Mapua, the Moutere vineyards, Abel Tasman & Nelson - a great area to explore and we would highly recommend staying here to experience Donna & Mike's amazing hospitality. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 🙂

Without a doubt one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. Donna & Mike are super hosts, so gracious and kind. The care and attention to detail they provided is outstanding.
The apartment is beautiful, well designed, very comfortable, the linens were beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The welcome treats and breakfast items were amazing and so appreciated. The views over the valley are stunning and we felt right at home the minute we arrived. The private hot tub was such a treat and although we never used the pool, it was always available for guests. Would highly recommend staying at Harakeke. It will exceed your expectations!

This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed, and I travelled the world!
The house is very stylish, exactly like in pictures, and the views around are to die for. Attention to detail is remarkable - we found all possible small things there to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The only regret I had is that we had only 2 nights in this gorgeous house.
