About us

We are your hosts Donna and Mike; we love living in the stunning Tasman region after spending most of our life in Auckland working for corporates.

We share our home with our two beautiful labradoodles Flynn and Ollie and being non shedding, hyper-allergic dogs they don’t add too much to the housework!

When we are not working on the property we love to walk the dogs, go biking and hiking on the many Tasman trails and enjoy the fabulous wineries and restaurants near us.

We did a fair bit of travelling over the years and stayed in some lovely places, this started a dream of having our own guest accommodation one day and to bring all these ideas to fruition when we designed our new home.

Harakeke Boutique Apartment is a separate wing to our house, completely self-contained and private with its on entrance and we think we have captured our dream.

Named after our native planting palette, Harakeke offers our guests a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the Tasman region while we as your hosts will do everything possible for you to experience a wonderful stay.
